Mind Over Matter:

Over this past summer, I visited Seoul, South Korea. During my stay, I visited Cheong Wa Dae, or the Blue House which was the previous residence of presidents of Korea. I took this photograph because in a place with so much discourse and debate over vastly complicated issues like politics, I was surprised to see people enjoying the peacefulness of nature. I was reminded that although the problems that we experience in life may seem overwhelming, in the end, the world is a much bigger place. The contrast between the looming reminder of the history of the location and the experience of the people represents the importance of putting our problems into a grander perspective.
