Tower of Babble:

This photograph was taken during my visit to Dongmyo Flea Market whilst on my trip to Seoul, South Korea last summer. While walking through Dongmyo, the CD store that is depicted in this photograph particularly caught my eye. Outside the store were stacks of CD cases, cassette tapes, books, and more with all kinds of languages and subjects that reminded me of the Tower of Babel. The Tower of Babel is a biblical story where God gives multiple languages to people to prevent them from being able to build a tower that reaches heaven. The photograph that shows the stack of CDs and mix of languages reflects the story of Tower of Babel that is meant to represent the diverse ambitions and backgrounds amongst populations.
